CREATE EQUIP MOBILIZE
"Barbara and I were called out of the family photography business in the late 80’s with the scripture "In place of your fathers will be your sons and you will make them princes in all the earth."

"We thought we’d be planting churches. Instead, God led us to start ministries and Kingdom businesses while supporting ourselves through media work."
OUR OUTDOORS PHOTO/FILM STUDIO GREW TO SERVE THE TOP CLIENTS IN THE NATION
In 1999 we formed a mobilization team at the University of Minnesota that launched or "rebooted" half a dozen ministries that thrive to this day.
That team purchased and renovated an abandoned fraternity and started Bordertown Coffee (est. 2004) and Kappa Pi Alpha (est. 2003).
Kappa Pi Alpha supports students in Christian community
while they prepare for their life calling at university.
Bordertown Coffee is our interface with the secular campus.
Once the university ministries were established, we felt led to launch a Kingdom business incubator to mobilize entrepreneurial partnerships between immigrant, underserved, and experienced entrepreneurs.
Firehouse Commons is the culmination of 10 years work to mobilize entrepreneurs for God's work, including teaching entrepreneurship to at risk youth (undiscovered talent) and supporting the start up of numerous other ministries and Kingdom businesses.
We are renovating the historic firehouse and anticipate opening Winter of 2022.
In 2015 we began combining our entrepreneurship and media efforts into create a film studio to create international film and mobilize international filmmakers.
We recently finished our the feature film Let Me Have My Son with writer/director Cristóbal Krusen of Messenger Films. Cristóbal has been making international films for 30 years.
Let Me Have My Son tells the story of a father searching for his son who has schizophrenia. It is the story of unexpected heroes and hope in the face of life's most difficult circumstances.
We are currently developing several new film projects, including a collaboration with Tim Mahoney of the Patterns of Evidence Series
We are also developing our training systems, in discussion with groups like Create Mobile, and taking on Interns for summer 2022.
WHO WILL TELL THE STORY FOR THIS GENERATION?
Someday you will be old enough to start reading fairy tales again.
